About Me

Hi I’m Cynthia Magriel Wetzler.

I am a journalist and have written feature stories for The New York Times since 1995. I am also a novelist and write literary fiction for adults and children.

I have created writing workshops in shelters for victims of domestic violence as well as dance/writing workshops nationally and abroad where dancing inspires writing.

I love that literature, dance, the visual arts and music can inspire each other and flow together in the same creative space.
